FDOT Turnpike – Polk Parkway Widening Design Build, Polk County

LTG, in association with Horizon Engineering Group, Inc. and Ranger Construction Industries, Inc., was selected to provide traffic engineering services for the Polk Parkway widening Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project from milepost 18.028 to milepost 22.286. For this design/build project, LTG will be providing Signalization Design, Lighting Design, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Design, and Post Design services.

FDOT District 5 – Continuing Services Contract BDI #014

As part of a teaming arrangement with Connelly & Wicker, Inc., LTG has been selected to provide traffic engineering services to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 5 on a continuing basis. LTG’s services on this contract will include Signalization Design, Lighting Design, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Design, and Traffic Engineering. We are excited to have been selected for this project and are eager to add this project to our growing FDOT portfolio.

City of Apopka Traffic Engineering & Transportation Planning Services

LTG, in association with Newkirk Engineering, was recently awarded a contract to provide Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineering Services on a continuing basis to the City of Apopka. This three-year contract will serve to provide a wide range of traffic engineering and transportation planning services to the City including traffic study and development plan review, parking studies, complete street studies, travel demand modeling, comprehensive plan updates, and traffic signal and ITS design to name a few.

City of West Melbourne Continuing Engineering Services Contract

LTG, in association with Bowman Consulting Group, was selected to provide engineering services for the City of West Melbourne.  This contract was evaluated based upon qualifications, experience, and client references.  We are proud to be part of the team selected and are looking forward to serving the City of West Melbourne on this contract.

City of Daytona Beach Transportation Planning CSC

LTG has been awarded the City of Daytona Beach Transportation Planning Continuing Services Contract to provide Transportation Planning support to the City, including GIS database and system administration; roadway characteristics inventory; preparation of various mapping and graphics tasks for presentation or reports; Traffic Impact Analysis; multi-modal study or transportation alternative studies; review or preparation of applicable ordinances, DRIs, and FQDs, transportation concurrency assessment, CPAs, and EARs; support the City staff with grant applications related to the TPO or other granting agencies; corridor analyses; public involvement; access management support; traffic calming studies; provide recommendations for functional classification of roadways; update and maintain the City’s vested trip tracker; and review and prepare Proportionate Share Agreements. We are proud have been consecutively awarded this contact and are looking forward to continuing to serve the City of Daytona Beach.

City of Deltona ADA Transition Plan

LTG is proud to be awarded the contract to provide roadway engineering analysis and design services for development of the City of Deltona’s ADA Transition plan. The City is committed to providing accessible facilities and services to all Deltona residents and visitors and will implement an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan. The Plan is to be used to bring related deficiencies within the City Rights-of-Way into compliance with the ADA. The City has approximately 350 miles of pedestrian sidewalks within the City limits. The ADA Transition Plan, infrastructure retrofit implementation plan, will be implemented as a program, utilizing existing and newly collected GIS data and inspection information together with technology tools. LTG shall perform traffic engineering, transportation planning and roadway/sidewalk design engineering services required to prepare a complete set of construction contract documents, bidding services and post design services.

Winter Garden Professional Engineering CSC

LTG, in association with Mead & Hunt, was selected to provide engineering services for the City of Winter Garden.  This contract was evaluated based upon qualifications, experience, and client references.  We are proud to be part of a team which ranked third out of eleven firms and are looking forward to serving the City of Winter Garden on this contract.

CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH – CONTINUING GENERAL MUNICIPAL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT

City of Daytona Beach – Continuing General Municipal Professional Engineering Services Contract

LTG has been awarded the City of Daytona Beach Professional Engineering Services Contract to provide Civil Engineering Services to include preliminary engineering, general engineering design and associated post-design support services and infrastructure master-planning with a special emphasis on urban pedestrian facility infrastructure. This two to five year contract was evaluated based upon qualifications, experience, and client references. We are proud to be the team which ranked first out of the 9 firms which submitted and are looking forward to serving the City of Daytona Beach on this contract.

City of New Smyrna Beach – Continuing Engineering Services Contract

LTG has been recommended for award, along with prime contractor S&ME, for the City of New Smyrna Beach contract for Continuing Engineering Services.  This five year contract was evaluated based upon qualifications, experience, and client references.  We are proud to be part of a team which ranked third out of the 18 firms which submitted and are looking forward to final commission approval and serving the City of New Smyrna Beach on this contract.

 

Florida Department of Transportation – I-75 and I-4 Truck Parking Availability System

LTG, in association WGI, Inc., has been selected by FDOT to design, procure, install, integrate, and test a new Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) to monitor and provide a Truck Parking Availability System (TPAS) at a new rest area located along SR 93 (I-75) in Charlotte county.  LTG’s scope includes the design and deployment of new ITS components to provide a truck parking availability system and the relocation of existing equipment in conflict with the new rest area.  We are excited to have been selected for this project and are eager to add this project to our growing ITS portfolio.

 

Indian River County – 58th Avenue Pavement Reclamation & Resurfacing Project

As part of a teaming arrangement with Bowman Consulting Group, LTG has been selected by Indian River County to provide traffic engineering services associated with the upcoming 58th Avenue Pavement Reclamation and Resurfacing project.  The project is approximately 3.6 miles long and runs along 58th Avenue (Kings Highway – CR-613) between 57th Street and CR-510.  LTG’s scope will include roadway analysis assistance, drainage analysis, signing and pavement marking analysis and plans, and traffic signal design.  This project is being completed as part of a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) construction grant.

Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization – General Planning Consulting Services

LTG has been selected, as a subcontractor to HNTB Corporation, to provide general transportation planning consulting services to the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization (SCTPO) on a continuing basis.  The SCTPO is a federally designated transportation planning agency for Brevard County, which encompasses approximately 1,557 square miles.  As the population in Brevard County continues to rise, professional transportation planning becomes a necessity.  LTG is happy to have been selected by the SCTPO to conduct transportation planning services to fulfill the planning activities identified in the adopted Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP).

Volusia County Traffic Engineering & Transportation Planning Services

LTG was recently awarded a contract to provide Traffic Engineering & Transportation Planning Services on a continuing basis to Volusia County. This three-year contract will serve to provide a wide range of traffic engineering and transportation planning services to the County including technical reviews of traffic impact analyses, traffic engineering studies, modeling, traffic signal design, and system timings to name a few.

I-95/St. Johns Heritage Parkway Interchange Design, Brevard County

LTG, in association with WGI, Inc. and Superior Construction Company South, was selected to provide services for the design of a newly planned divergent diamond interchange located at I-95 and St. Johns Heritage Parkway in southern Brevard County. LTG’s services will include ITS, lighting, and signalization.

St. Johns County – Coastal Engineering Professional Services Contract

Through a team-based approach LTG has been selected for the St. Johns County Coastal Engineering Professional Services Contract. This contract is being initiated by the County as a result of the major damage caused by Hurricane Matthew in October 2016. LTG staff has provided transportation engineering services to other municipal entities in Florida following natural disasters and is experienced with the needs and expeditious timelines these projects often require.
